| 摘 要： | 20世纪初,美国在其产业部门的推动下,一些应用科学领域除了授予哲学博士学位外,也开始授予专业博士学位,并逐渐形成了两种学位并行的格局。专业博士学位是一种应用型高级学位,这种学位的设立适应了美国社会尤其是企业界对高级应用人才的需要。本文从四个方面总结了美国专业博士研究生培养的特点,并分析其对我国高等教育的启示。
