| 摘 要： | 文献编目的主要目的之一是为了提供检索。提高文献的查全率或查准率，一是基于文献著录时检索点的确定和标引；二是基于文献著录时提供的增值服务。重视西文编目过程中每个检索点的确定和标引，以及提供编目增值服务，是提高西文编目效用，进而提高西文利用率的重要途径。

| Abstract: | One main purpose of document catalogue is to offer retrieval. The methods to raise the recall ratio and accuracy ratio are based on two ways. One is how to define and index the access points during cataloguing, another is to supply some value-added services. Paying attention to these ways while cataloging helps to improve the utilization of the western language documents. |
