| Abstract: | In the U.S.,children with severe cognitive disabilities who are unable to take the general accountability test are supposed to be given an alternate assessment.This article gives an introduction to the legal basis,the evaluation criteria,and the evaluation methods for the alternate assessment of children with severe cognitive disabilities in the U.S.Also,the article analyzes the positive impact of the alternate assessment and pending problems,and predicts the future trend of the research. |
