| 摘 要： | 英语同义词有着共同的基本意义。它们之间的细微差异不仅产生与英美的历史、地理及语言本身的发展与变化,还与由语境不同而产生的各种语言文体有着不可分割的关系。对同义词及各类文体意义深入研究使我们从本质上辨析词汇差异,并了解和掌握它们在语言运用中的各种语体功能。

| Abstract: | English synonyms possess their own basic meaning. The subtle differences among them not only stem from development and changes of British and American history.geography and language itself ,but also relate closely to various language styles produced by different language environments. The further research on these issues gives us a substantial discriminations of synonyms, and makes us further understand and command different functions in stylistic language usage. |
