| 摘 要： | 马克·吐温的短篇小说通过小题大做、大题小做、尾重、轻描淡写等独特的幽默叙事手法，将各种简短的故事讲述得引人入胜且幽默风趣。小题大做主要通过使用语体高过文体的词汇；大题小做将事件的严重性淡化；尾重则将小说的幽默之处在文末揭示出来；轻描淡写则以说笑话的人不笑，听笑话的人不笑的方式，使小说充满一种傻气的认真、诙谐而又逼真的意味。

| Abstract: | Mark Twain, by adopting the strategies of exaggeration, understatement, heavy weight in the end and weak tone in writing, achieved a unique style of humorous narrative, making his short stories enticing and briming with wit and humor. In Mark Twain＇ s short novels, exaggeration means mainly the usage of words which are higher in style than the novel itself; understatement means the easy dealings with serious problems; heavy weight in the end refers to his revelation of humorous point at the end of the novel while weak tone means the strategy of delibrately making the speaker and the listener of the humorous story not laugh, thus giving a silly yet serious, humorous and vivid touch to the novel. |
