| 摘 要： | 随着油气钻采朝深水、深地、非常规、新能源方向迈进,石油工程专业的力学课程设置需要朝国际化、创新型的方向发展.本文作者通过实地调研、毕业生访谈、国际交流、网络搜集的方式,分析对比了中美两国拥有石油工程专业院校的力学课程的种类和学分设置情况.调查发现两国院校均重视本科生力学的课程教学,强调力学在石油工程专业培养中的基础学科属性;而研究生课程的种类和学分存在较大差异.中国院校将多门研究生力学课程作为必修/限选课程,而美国院校则更注重学科交叉,更强调根据教师的研究领域让其研究生跨院系自由选修.建议我国院校根据自身国情、校情,在保证力学教育强度的同时增加课程设置的灵活度,促进小班化、个性化教学.

Investigation of Mechanics Course Settings in Petroleum Engineering Program between China and the USA |

| Abstract: | As the drilling and exploitation of oil and gas resources are attempting to target deep water,deep underground,unconventional,and new energy types,the mechanics course setting requires for being developed towards more international and creative.The authors of this article analyzed by comparing the course settings,including type of course and course credit,of a group of Chinese universities and a group of American universities that have petroleum engineering program.The analysis was conducted by means of field survey,graduate interview,international exchange and web source exploration.It was found that the universities or colleges in both countries place equal emphasis on undergraduate education on mechanics,which means the mechanics courses are regarded by them as core ones in engineering education.However,the settings with respect to the graduate level differ to some degree.The Chinese universities assign several graduate mechanics courses as required or conditionally selective ones,whereas the American counterparts lay more stress on interdisciplinary exchange and allow for the graduate students to freely choose courses provided by other schools as directed by their advisors.It is suggested that the universities or colleges in our country make more flexible arrangement of the course settings and promote small classes as well as customized teaching according to the domestic situations,as long as the abundance of the mechanics education can be secured. |
