孔子与苏格拉底对话教学法:比较文化视角

摘    要:作为东西方教育文明源头上最早的两位大教育家,孔子和苏格拉底的教育思想既有相似性也存在差异性;其相似性反映了人类教育教学活动的共同规律,其差异性则反映了各自遭遇的社会生存环境以及民族特有的生活方式、文化传统、价值观念、思维方式,开创了两种不同的教育传统和教育研究范式。在当代多元化与一体化并存的社会背景下,东西方教育与文化正由传统分化走向新的融合,或许从比较文化角度分析孔子和苏格拉底对话教学法及其所显现出来的相似性合差异性,能给教育科学发展一些深刻启迪。

Abstract:Confucius and Socrates are two great pioneer educators in the east and the west,whose educational thoughts have common grounds and differences.Their common grounds reflect the common law of human pedagogical activities,while the differences reflect their different living environments,living styles,cultural traditions,value concepts and thinking modes,which has formed two different educational traditions and paradigms.Under the contemporary context of cultural diversity and integrity,education and culture in the east and the west are changing from differentiation to new amalgamation.This article analyses the question-and-answer method of teaching of Confucius and Socrates and their common grounds and differences which can give some deep enlightenment on the development of education.
