摘 要: | CBI(C0ntent-ba Sed Instruction)教学法,即内容依托教学法,采用将语言技能训练与学科知识教学相结合的外语教学方法。本实证研究旨在通过CBI教学法来检验它对提高高校英语专业学生的听力能力的有效性。实验结果表明,采用CBI教学法的实验班比采用传统教学法的对照班同学的英语听力考试的平均成绩有了一定的提高。更重要的是,实验班比对照班学生的自学能力.独立思考锯力和语言主云用能力有了争女柏耀高

An Empirical Study of English Major Listening Teaching in College Based on CBI Theory |

Abstract: | Content-based Instruction (CBI) is a foreign language teaching method combining language skills training and subject knowledge teaching. This empirical study aimed to test its effec- tiveness for improving the listening ability of college English ma- jors by way of practicing CBI.The results show that the experi- mental class using CBI got higher average scores in English lis- tening test compared to the control class using traditional teach- ing method. More importantly, the experimental class outper- formed the control class in terms of self-learning ability, inde- pendent thinking and practical language skills. |
