摘    要:美国职业教育的发展历史可以分为三个阶段:第一阶段从20世纪初到20世纪80年代,职业教育针对特殊的弱势群体,培养学生具体的工作技能;第二阶段从20世纪80年代至20世纪末,职业教育面向所有的学生,培养学生特定的工作技能;第三阶段从21世纪初至今,职业教育呈现出与普通教育相融合的趋势,越来越具有灵活性.

Abstract:The history of vocational education in the USA contains three stages: the first stage was from the beginning of 20th century to 1980s,and vocational education in this stage served specific disadvantaged groups and cultivated students’ specific occupational skills.The second stage was from 1980s to the end of 20th century,and vocational education in this stage served all students and focused on the improvement of academic quality as well as the cultivation of occupational skills of students.The third stage was after the beginning of 21st century,and vocational education in this stage was more and more integrated with general education,and became more and more flexible.The evolution of vocational education of the USA was conditioned by social and economic change as well as influenced by the vocational education theories.
