英语评价性句子副词指向问题研究

摘    要:英语评价性句子副词一般位于句首修饰其后的小句或命题,其语义含义是说话人对该命题的评价。文章辨析了英语中说话人取向和主语取向评价性副词的语艾差别,澄清了说话人取向句子副词定义中的模糊性,并分析了说话人取向句子副词的评价指向性。

Abstract:The evaluative sentential adverbs in English usually distribute at the beginning of the sentence taking a clause or preposition as its argument.Semantically,it is the judgment or evaluation made by the speaker on the preposition.The semantic difference of speaker-oriented and subject-oriented adverbs in English is analyzed to clarify the obscure expression in the definition of speaker-oriented adverbs.Furthermore,the reference to whom the speaker makes a judgment is also analyzed in this paper.
