| 摘 要： | 孙家鼐总结和吸收前人及同时代中外人士有关中西学思想的经验,较早地提出和阐述了“中学为体,西学为用”的思想。他的政治、教育和文化等主张和实践或以“中体西用”为指导,或体现了“中体西用”的思想。他的“中体西用”思想主张实践上的主要成果是筹办了京师大学堂,并对光绪帝的变法产生了直接影响。

| Abstract: | SUN Jia-nai summarized and assimilated the Chinese and Western Thought experiences of predecessors as well as the Chinese and foreign contemporaries. He was one of earliest scholars who put forward and elaborated the idea of ＂Chinese learning for the essence and western learning for practical use＂. His political, educational and cultural ideas and practices were guided by ＂making Chinese style serve the West＂ or basically he realized the concept of ＂making Chinese style serve the West＂. His proposal of ＂making Chinese style serve the West＂ resulted in establishment of the Imperial University of Peking and certain direct impact on Emperor Guangxu in his political reform. |
