摘    要:梁启超对生死问题的严肃思考始于戊戌后流亡日本时感受到的尚武风气。通过对日本武士道的剖析,杨度、梁启超提出"精神不死"说,认为个体生命的意义在于对于"大我"生命永恒性的贡献,以此作为"新民"文化之一种。五四知识分子的"社会的不朽"、"不死"说对于将来和社会的观念作了同样的阐释。但五四知识分子对个人主义的信仰,在一定程度上削弱了晚清一代人"至诚无我"的大我观,他们对自然主义的信仰也与梁启超的人文宗教信仰不同。

Abstract:Liang Qi-chao’s thinking on life and death began with his experience during his exile in Japan.The concept of "Spirit Deathless",inspired by Japanese Busido,which Yang du and Liang Qi-chao proposed,means that significance of individual life is belong to immutability of "Great Self".In terms of social and prospective views,the same idea was expressed in May 4th intellectuals’ concept of "Social immortal" or "immortality".To some extent,the concept of "Great Self" of "Sincere Non-self",which Liang declared in late Qing,was weakened by May 4th intellectuals,because of their faith in individualism.And their faith in naturalism were still different from Liang Qi-chao’s faith in humanistic religion.
