| 摘 要： | 化差异是翻译中的障碍和难题。要在两种语言之间进行翻译，必须了解两种化，深刻理解两种化之间的差异。只有这样，才能使翻译不仅在语言意义上等值，而且在化意义上贴切、对等。本从地域化、习俗化、历史化和宗教化等方面，阐释了因中西化差异在进行汉英翻译时一些棘手难症的种种表现，并针对其中的一些问题提出了相应的解决办法。
