摘    要:“分类学”与“传记学”的叙述方法构成了现今中国美术史教材中的两大叙述特色。然而,从一些个案分析显示这两种叙述方式都存在着一些不足。例如,运用“分类学”的叙述方法去处理中国古代的石窟寺、屏风画艺术时就会出现一些分类模糊的局面,而运用“传记学”的方法去分析中国古代美术家及其作品风格时,则又会使一些讨论过于刻板。应当参考国外汉学界中一些中国美术史、考古学教材中的相关叙述方法,采纳其合理性成分,可作为撰写中国美术史教材的借鉴。

Abstract:The methods of taxonomical and biograghical narrating compose the characteristics of narrating in Chinese art history teaching materials nowadays. However, we could note several weaknesses in both of them from the analysis of some cases in these teaching materials. For example, some confused situations of understanding may arise when disposing Chinese ancient Buddhist carve temple art and screen art; furthermore, some discussions may be also become mechanical when analysizing Chinese ancient artists and the style of masterpieces by using the methods of biograghical narrating. Through referring to the narrating ways in some Chinese art history and archaeology teaching materials written by some sinologists, this paper points out the reasonable sides for learning and adopting when these Chinese scholars are writing Chinese art history teaching materials in the future .
