| 摘 要： | 在自然语言中,歧义是一种普遍存在的语言现象。英语中有些歧义是由于英语句子的线性结构所致。本文从句法结构这个层面分析了一些由介词短语引起的英语歧义句。文中提出的避免或减少这类歧义的具体方法,将给英语学习者提供一些帮助。

| Abstract: | In natural language,ambiguity is a universal phenomenon.In English,some ambiguities are caused by the English sentential linear structure.This paper,from the syntactic level,analyses some English ambiguous sen- tences,in which ambiguities are caused by the prepositional phrases.The specific techniques of avoiding or reduc- ing ambiguity,proposed in this paper,will help English learners in this aspect. |
