批评性话语分析与大学生英语阅读能力的培养

摘    要:批评性话语分析注重研究语言、权力和意识形态之间的关系,其主要研究方法有系统功能语法分析、语篇体裁交织性分析和话语历史背景分析。笔者运用批评性话语分析相关理论,结合及物性和语态、词语意义和词语表达、互文性和预设研究四种具体研究方法举例进行分析,得出在大学生英语阅读中运用批评性话语分析相关理论和方法有利于帮助大学生在阅读中建立起批判性意识,更好地理解文章,挖掘语篇的隐含意义以及作者的创作意图,提高对社会文化意义的理解层次,从而提高他们的英语阅读能力。

CDA and the Cultivation of Students'Reading Ability
Abstract:Critical discourse analysis (CDA) is a new branch of modem linguistics. It focuses on the relationship among language, power, and ideology. CDA often uses the method of systematic-functional analysis, intertextual analysis and historical analysis. This paper applies related theories of CDA and four specific research methods to analyze some examples. It concludes that applying related theories and methods during students' reading can help students build critical consciousness, understand the texts, exploit the implied meaning and the writers' intention, upgrade their ability of understanding sociaeultural meanings. Therefore, students' reading ability can be well cultivated and greatly enhanced.
