| 摘 要： | 模糊性是自然语言的本质特征之一。模糊词汇也广泛地存在于法律语言中。综合分析法律英语中的法律术语、普通词汇转化为法律词汇、古语、外来语、缩略语、情态动词等词汇的模糊性及其语用意义,并探索了法律词汇的语意对等、功效对等和模糊消除等的三种翻译策略。

| Abstract: | Fuzziness is one of the design features in natural language.Fuzzy language in legal English has its own distinctive features.This paper mainly analyzes the features of fuzzy words such as legalese,legal terms formed by common words,archaic,loan words,abbreviations and modal auxiliaries in legal English,and explores the three approaches which might be applicable to the translation of fuzzy words,i.e.semantic equivalence,functional equivalence and elimination of fuzziness. |
