| 摘 要： | 改革开放以来，我国职业教育事业得到了蓬勃发展。但职业院校的英语教学现状和学生的英语学习情况却不甚理想．依据教育部高职高专培养目标，分析英语教学现状．目前高职高专院校英语教学中存在的一些弊端，要更新教学理念，改革教学模式，强化专业特色，培养学生实际驾御语言的能力，提高人才培养质量，以更好满足社会发展的需要．
