试探清末师范教育发展历史分期

摘    要:清末师范教育发展历史甚短,学者多视其为一个整体而不作分期研究。实际上,它仍经历了一个萌芽、兴起、发展的动态过程,具有明显的阶段性特征。通过考察,本文认为,它的历史可以科举制废除与学部设立为界限分为前后两个时期,划为萌芽、学制系统确立、求速发展、整顿提高、再度扩展五个阶段。它的发展变迁,与人们对师范教育重要性及办学规律的认识不断加深相一致,又与清末新政与教育改革的历史进程相吻合,并受制于后者;对它的分期研究,可为我们认识清末新政与教育改革提供一个视角。

Division of Normal Education in Late-Qing Era
Abstract:The development of mormal educatim in Late Qing Era is very short. Based on historical investigation, it can be divided into the two periods of abolishment of Keju and establishment of Xuebu and the five stages of germination, establishment of school system, rapid development, readjustment and enhancement, and re-development.
