| Abstract: | This paper gives a sketch of Chen Duxiu s career in the press,which is divided into four stages.Chen,by compiling the ＂New Youth＂ and the ＂Weekly Review＂,became the＂commander in chief＂in the＂New Culture Movement＂.The paper discusses Chen s latitudinarian view on journalism,which centers on individual freedom and advocates freedom of thought and speech. |
