| 摘 要： | 历时语言学和社会语言学认为任何语言的产生、变化和发展都是“个体发生”和“种系发生”的有机结合。英语的发展经历古英语、中世纪英语、近现代英语和现代英语四个阶段。美国英语对现代英语的发展起了重大的推动作用,在语言、词汇、语法等语言系统的主要方面进一步剥离、演绎和发展了英语语言的基本结构。进入19世纪末和20世纪初以来的现代英语,更是随着各种族文化间的相互渗透向多元化方向发展。

| Abstract: | According to Diachronic Linguistics and Socio-linguistics,the emergence,variation and evolution of a language thanks to the organic combination between Individual Occurence and Species Occurence.English has taken a evolution of four phases: old,middle,quasi-modern and modern.American English contributes greatly to the process by detaching and developing fundamental structure of English: phonetic system,lexical system and grammatical system.Modern English,taking on the shape since late 19~(th) and early 20~(th) century,has come up to a multidimensional development on account of the fusion between different cultures. |
