| Abstract: | This paper makes a questionnaire survey about perceptual learning styles and a listening comprehension test. It makes a tentative study of the perceptual learning styles of non-English majors in Lanzhou Petrochemical College within theoretical frame work of learning style theory proposed by Kate Kinsella. It aims at studying overall tendency in learning style among the non-English majors and the differences of perceptual learning styles between high- achievers and low- achievers. The paper tends to find out some applicable suggestions and pedagogical implications for foreign language learning and teaching. |
