| Abstract: | Language is the carrier of culture. In order to learn a foreign language well, one has to have an understanding of the culture of the language. This essay makes an exposition of the relationship between language and culture, and necessity and contexts of culture input in foreign language teaching. At the same time, the writer discusses the ways and principles of introducing culture in language teaching. |
