| Abstract: | Library science education has experienced remarkable changes in China since 1998. Library science educators and librarians hold different opinions in terms of issues such as the title of the profession, the discipline development, the educational system, the training goal, the curriculum and continuing education. The paper tries to make review on the above issues and expound the authors' point of view. |
