D. candidate in Evaluation Studies, a joint program of Administration and Policy Studies, School of Education and the Division of Methodology and Evaluation Research, Psychology Department, Northwestern University. She is a former Peace Corps volunteer and high school social studies teacher, and was associated with the Division of Planning Studies in Continuing Education, The Pennsylvania State University, where she directed the management information system for Pennsylvania's Adult Basic Education Program and conducted audience research for the Pennsylvania Public Television Network.;Professor of Psychology and Education at Northwestern University, directs the Methodology and Evaluation Research Division. He holds appointments with the Center for Probability and Statistics and the Center for Urban Affairs and Public Policy. He is the author and editor of several books on applied research including Assuring Confidentiality of Data in Social Research (Philadelphia: University of Pennsylvania, 1979), Reanalyzing Program Evaluations (San Francisco: Jossey-Bass, 1981), and Social Experimentation (New York: Academic Press, 1974). Boruch serves on a number of research committees of the National Academy of Sciences, the Social Science Research Council, and is a frequent consultant to research agencies in the United States and abroad.
