| Abstract: | How to be a good official and how to carry out his doctrine in practice are something Zhang Yanghao adhered to all his life. This article discusses his interpretation of what a good official was and his consistent pursuit of being a good official. His behaviour and practice set a good example for today＇s intellectuals and officials. |
