反思型和冲动型认知风格对语言学习的影响

摘    要:本文对认知风格中的直觉——分析(intuition-analysis)维度中的反思型和冲动型研究进行了综述。诸多研究表明,具有反思型风格的人逻辑推理能力较强,将是沉稳、精准的学习者,具有冲动型风格的人反应迅速,是积极、快捷的学习者,而两种类型的折中者有可能成为最好的语言学习者。因此,教师应认为针对具有不同的认知风格的学习者,应采取不同的教学策略,真正做到因材施教。

Abstract:The second language researchers have examined particular learner traits,such as cognitive styles to ascertain their relationship to progress in learning another language.Based on a brief account of the theory and practice of reflectivity and impulsivity,this paper attempts to analyze the role of reflectivity and impulsivity in Second Language Acquisition(SLA).Psychological literature indicates that a reflective person possesses enhanced cognitive restructuring abilities,while an impulsive person is likely to possess well-developed interpersonal skills.The author has come to the following conclusion: second language teachers should keep a match between learners' cognitive styles and teaching strategies to improve teaching proficiency.
