| 摘 要： | 林语堂后期散文创作成就集中体现在《吾国与吾民》、《生活的艺术》这两本介绍中国文化的书中。这两本书强烈地表现出林语堂对中国传统文化的依恋和颂扬。林语堂从日常生活的观察与思索中去发现中西文化的不同,取的是艺术家的态度,表现为小品文的境界。尽管林语堂强调他谈的是超越儒、道、释的整个中国文化,但我们发现林语堂是站在道家立场来评判、选择中国文化的。以这种道家精神在日常生活中的形态表现为对生活常识、人生本相的关注,并将之视为人生目的,认为这才是真实、自然、高尚的,是富有永久生命和价值意义的。

| Abstract: | Lin Yutang's artistic achievement of his later prose presents in "My Country and My People","the Art of Life ".The two books introduce Chinese culture with the revelation of his strong love to Chinese traditional culture.With the close observation on daily life,he found the difference between Western and Chinese cultures.Although he stressed that he was talking the culture that surpassed "Confucianism","Taoism" and "Buddhism",we find that he is on the side of Taoism criticizing and choosing Chinese culture. |
