摘    要:美国教育传播与技术协会(AECT)2020年国际学术年会(以下简称AECT 2020)于11月2日至7日在网上召开,这也是协会成立97年来第一次全面以网络会议的形式举行。全球各地近1000位教育技术研究人员、教育实践者、教师、教学设计师、教育技术及相关领域的研究生和企业界人士,分享了各自的学术研究成果和最佳教学实践与经验。AECT 2020主题是“基于文化的学习设计与研究”(Towards Culturally-Situated Learning and Research)。围绕这一主题,展开了丰富多彩的学术交流与研讨:共举办了360场次的会议发言,33场次的激灵式讲演,41场小组论坛,99个海报展示,166个圆桌讨论和32场图书分享,13个兴趣小组(Birds of a Feather)和23个工作坊,以及七大门类的特别报道(Special Strands)。AECT 2020先后为参会人员提供了784场次的学术交流机会,研讨内容丰富多彩。国际华人教育技术协会等20多个AECT联谊协会与学术团体也参与本次年会。在大会组织者和124名志愿者的共同努力下,年会圆满成功,继续以众多的研究成果引领教育技术领域的国际学术发展潮流。

Abstract:AECT 2020 International Convention with the theme“Toward Culturally-Situated Learning Design and Research”was held virtually from November 2 to November 7.AECT 2020 is the first fully online convention since 1997 when the association was funded.This convention had a great number of sessions with various format.Nearly 1,000 experts,teachers,researchers,instructional designers and graduate students from many countries attended the Convention to share their scholarly accomplishments,innovations,applications,and development of educational technology.AECT 2020 had hold 360 concurrent presentations,33 inspire sessions,41 panel discussions,99 iPoster,166 round tables,32 book sharing,13 birds of feather sessions,and 23 workshops.A total of 784 convention presentations and activities were held to promote academic exchanges in AECT 2020,which offered a previous opportunity for participants to learn from others.At the same time,AECT’s 20 Divisions and affiliated organizations also shared their research accomplishments.With the joint efforts of the AECT 2020 organization group and 124 volunteers,the AECT 2020 virtual convention was a great success,and the international academic trend in the field of educational technology was led by many research achievements.
