| Abstract: | Focusing on the confusing problem to most of the students in English study--＂synonym＂, the paper analyses the origins of the phenomenon, and discusses the methods to distinguish synonyms from the perspective of semantic difference, emotive difference and collocational difference, which aims to help the students choose words appropriately and improve their capability in using language. |
