| 摘 要： | 英语关系分句和同位语分句的区别,大部分研究认为有三点或两点的区别,王益民先生认为英语关系分句和同位语分句有八点区别。本文经过分析查找的证据表明,两种分句在以下八个方面也存在差异:分句的位置;when,where,why的用法;what,how,whether,that的用法;分句的倒装;分句前介词的省略;指示词;关系分句可能相当于状语分句;以及限定性和非限定性关系分句有时意义不同。也就是说本研究表明英语关系分句和同位语分句至少16个方面的区别。

| Abstract: | This paper points out , besides the eight differences mentioned in All the Differences between English Relative and Appositive Clauses by Wang Yimin, that the two kinds of clauses are also different from each other in the following eight aspects, i.e.position, usage of when, where and why, usage of what, how, whether and that , inversion , omission of prepositions before the clauses , indicator , some relative clauses functioning the same as adverbial clauses , restrictive and nonrestrictive relative clauses sometimes having different meanings . |
