| 摘 要： | 人是符号的“动物”，而小说作为一种语言艺术的表现形式同样也离不开符号，可以说，符号是连接小说主体、客体、文本、受体等的重要中枢。符号在小说中的作用首先体现在运思阶段，这个阶段有四个过程，在这四个过程中，符号都起到了重要的、相互联系又各自独立的作用。
