| 摘 要： | 为了学好英语,特别是为了提高英语写作和翻译水平,了解和熟悉一些英文谚语和格言十分必要。本文介绍了英文谚语的特点,并在分析一些常用的语言材料的基础上归纳出几种可行的英文谚语的翻译方法,以期为广大英语学习者参考、鉴赏。

| Abstract: | To learn English well,especially to improve the level of English writing and translation,it’s very necessary to know and get familiar with some English proverbs and mottoes.This essay introduces the features of English proverb and concludes several feasible ways to translate English proverbs based on the analysis of some commonly-used language materials in the hope of reference and appreciation for many English learners. |
