| 摘 要： | 一词多义是一种重要的语言现象,它普遍存在于各种语言之中。作为英语词汇的一大特色,其复杂性也给英语词汇学习的过程带来一定的困难。本文通过举例,详细分析了一词多义现象产生的原因与途径;在此基础上笔者探讨并提出了英语学习者在学习英语词汇时的几种有效方法和需要注意的事项,即：英语学习者应该善于总结,把握多义词的原始意义,同时注意多义词出现的语境。

On Polysemy and Learning English Vocabulary |

| Abstract: | Polysemy is an important language phenomenon,and exists in various languages generally.It is a characteristic of English vocabulary.However,the complexity of polysemy brings learners much difficulty.This article analysis the causes and ways in which polysemy comes into being with examples.Based on this,the writer explores some methods which are useful for learners when they acquire English vocabulary,especially English polysemes——The English learners should sum up the polysemes regularly,have a good command of the primary meaning,and pay attention to the contexts in which polysemes occur. |
