| 摘 要： | 人的行为受多种动机的支配，但就其特定行为而言，必然有其起主导作用的优势动机。这些优势动机，由于其动力功能不同，又分为缺失性动机和成长性动机。高等学校领导者在成就事业中的缺失性动机有：渴求晋升的企望、级别待遇的影响；成长性动机有：权力期望、胜任力推动、成长的需要、地位的作用。

| Abstract: | Human behavior is dominated by various kinds of motivations, among which there should be some leading ones as far as a specific behavior is concerned. They can be divided into motivations in deficiency and those in development according to their respective incentive functions. The paper holds that, in the case of leaders in institutions of higher learning in their attempts to strive for more accomplishment, motivations in deficiency lie in the desire to be promoted and the inducement to enjoy better pay and conditions, while motivations in development are composed of the longing for power, the wish for the display of competence, the need for growth and the effect resulted from the difference of ranks. |
