| Abstract: | CuSO4 used as solid acid catalyst for the synthesis of preservative ethyl-parahydroxybenzoate with para-hydroxybenzonic acid and alcohol was studied. Various factors that affects the reaction, and the performance of the repetitive usage of catalyst were discussed in the text. |
