| 摘 要： | 本文研究了密歇根英语学术口语语料库(MICASE)中副词性模糊限制语的分布状况及其功能,发现MICASE中副词性模糊限制语的使用极为常见.程度副词和可能性副词的使用频率远远高于频率副词和变动范围副词,使用形式也更多样;程度副词、频率副词和变动范围副词中强势限制语的使用较弱势限制语更加频繁.模糊限制语的使用可以使发话者更好地调控话语的语势,帮助说话者赢得正面面子,或者尊重释话者的负面面子,在信息交流者之间创造有效的交际氛围.

| Abstract: | This study investigated the distribution and pragmatic functions of adverbial hedges in Michigan Corpus of Academic Spoken English(MICASE).It is found that adverbial hedges are frequently used in MICASE.Adverbs of degree and probability have far more occurrences and forms than those of frequency and approximation.In adverbs of degree,adverbs of frequency,and adverbs of approximation,accentuating hedges are used more than attenuating hedges.Using these hedges flexibly can help the utterer adjust the force of... |
