| 摘 要： | 学界普遍认为,中国近代(1840-1919)妇女解放思想是以戒缠足和兴女学为核心内容的。那么,在这个历史阶段中,首先提出这样的妇女解放主张的究竟是哪派人?有学者认为是太平天国的领袖们。其实,他们提出的口号是很有限度的,并未达到近代思想的深度。而活跃在19世纪70至90年代的早期维新派,吸收西方男女平等思想,批判旧中国有关妇女的种种恶俗,大力提倡戒缠足、兴女学等主张,与太平天国的提法有本质的不同,而与戊戌维新时期及以后的近代知识分子所提出的妇女解放思想完全一致,因而,我们认为,最初提出具有近代意义的妇女解放主张的是早期维新派。

| Abstract: | It is a common knowledge that prohibiting the evil custom of bound feet and establishing women schools are two key elements of the women liberation ideas in modern China between 1840 and 1919.So the question is who first presented the ideas of women liberation in this period. Scholars believe that the leaders of the Taiping movement are the first group of those people.We think,however,that their slogan of women liberation is very limited because it does not reach the height with modern essence.Based on the Western ideas on women liberation,the early Reformists,who stepped onto and played an important role on the historical stage between 1870's and 1890's,criticized the old China's evil costumes on women and supported the prohibiting of bound feet and the establishment of women schools.Their views are quite different from those maintained by the Taiping leaders,but much similar to those by the modern intellectuals of the Wuxu period(1898 Reform)and hitherto.Therefore,we believe that the early Reformists should be regarded as the first people who presented the ideas of women liberation in modern China. |
