| Abstract: | Between Jin and Song Dynasties, the political situation was changeable. Gentry clans took an active part in political movements, they hoped to vitalize their families in the new dynasty. Along with the authority strengthened, the ruler took measure of limit and strike, gentry clans was forced from contending to yielding, gradually withdrawing from the power center. |
