| Abstract: | As one of the institutional innovation measures that created for the informationalized development, CIO position setting is an important structural reform measure just for facing challenges and opportunities brought by the information technology. This article starts with analyzing the concept and development of CIO, and then clarifies the historical evolution of CIO position in American University. Through the statement of universities’ management affairs, it analyzes the characteristics of manage mode of IT department. |
