| Abstract: | Pun is a humorous use of a word that has two meanings or of different words that sound the same, which can produce a phrase or sentence with a double meaning. It is not only a play on words but also an effective rhetorical method which is widely used. A study and understanding of this useful rhetorical method will help us with our attainments in language and culture, improvement of our ability to read and appreciate. |
