Abstract:Near-field optical microscopy, based on scanning sample surfaces by the tip of optical probe, obtained the imagined information about the object surface. The essential principle and system structure were compared between traditional optical microscopy and near-field optical microscopy. This paper mainly discusses the principle of near field detection and the optical tunneling effect. It also emphatically discusses the properties of non-radiating fields.
