高中生英语语言能力的实证研究

摘    要:随机抽取150名大学一年级非英语专业本科生作为研究对象,参加高考英语测试和英语语言能力测试;然后,运用SPSS统计软件,统计分析受试的高考英语成绩与语言能力测试成绩的相关关系;最后,从两者的相关关系,讨论分析高考英语命题的负面反拨效应及改革方向,探讨中学和大学英语教学中的英语语言能力培养问题。本研究指出:中学英语教学及测试应重视真实英语语言能力的培养和考核;大学英语教学要注意与中学英语教学的衔接,把教学重点放在学生英语综合应用语言能力的提高上,同时增强其自主学习能力.提高人文素幕.

Abstract:The correlation between the English scores of the College Entrance Examination (CEE) and that of a Proficiency Test (IELTS) of 150 college students of Grade One from a university is analyzed via SPSS software. Based on the correlation, the study analyses washback effect of CEE, urges the improvement of CEE, and discusses the issue on English teaching in high schools and colleges. It is concluded that more emphasis should be put on English competence in English teaching and test in high school, and that college English teaching should focus on training students" ability of using English language in different fields, and on enhancing students" humanist accomplishment.
