中国民办高校教师学术能力发展的问题及对策

摘    要:学术能力发展是民办高等学校教师发展的核心内容,民办高校教师应该具备教学、研究、应用知识、综合知识四种学术能力,其学术水平的提高需要四种学术能力的协调平衡发展。而当前中国民办高校教师学术能力的发展存在失衡的现象,表现在教师教学与科研学术能力发展不协调,应用知识与综合知识的学术能力尚为欠缺等方面。促进中国民办高校教师四种学术能力的协调发展和整体学术水平的提高是中国民办高等学校可持续发展的保障和重要任务。中国民办高校要努力营造教师学术能力发展的良好环境,改革教师评价制度,构建教师参与学校管理和社会服务的机制,中国民办高校教师也要追求自我发展,不断提高学术水平。

Abstract:The academic ability development is the core content of teachers' development in private universities. As a teacher in private universities, one ought to possess its academic ability in the following four aspects: teaching, study, applying knowledge and integrating knowledge. The improvement of the teacher's academic level depends on the harmonious development among the above four kinds of academic ability. At present, the unbalance of teachers' academic ability development is taking place in private universities of China, which reflects on the inconsistent development between teaching and scientific study ability as well as the indigence of academic ability to apply and integrate knowledge etc. To facilitate the harmonious development of teachers' academic ability and the improvement of their overall academic level is the guarantee as well as the vital mission of Chinese private universities' durative development. Private universities of China ought to spare no efforts to build a favorable environment for teachers' academic ability development, to reform the teacher evaluation system and to construct a mechanism for the teachers' participation in school management and social service. Moreover, the teachers of private universities ought to pursue self-development and to improve their academic level continuously.
