| 摘 要： | 简·爱是夏·勃朗特在《简·爱》中刻画的一位不畏男权势力压迫，追求人格平等和独立的女性；苔丝是哈代在《德伯家的苔丝》所塑造的一位追求妇女平等、自由的女性形象。这两部作品均表现了男权传统势力对女主人公的压抑、摧残，以及女主人公的抵制、抗争。可以说，妇女地位包含社会及家庭两个层面，社会地位（经济、政治、人际关系等等）向来为论者所关注，而对于家庭地位（执家权利、家务分工、感情状态，特别是性角色）则有所忽视。然而，这些内容恰恰准确地表现了妇女追求心灵解放为核心的自身的平等、自由。

| Abstract: | Jane Eyre is an independent female image who fights with the male power fearlessly and pursues equality in personality created by Charlott Bronte in Jane Eyre; while Tess is one who pursues female equality and freedom portrayed by Hardy. Both of the works reflect the repression and torture of male power on the heroines, as well as their resistance. The social status of women is usually under discussion; whereas their status in the family is neglected. However, this exactly expresses the idea of women＇ s pusuit of equality and freedom focused on the liberation of mind. The author will analyzes the heroines from the two aspects and comes to the conclusion that they are rebels of female consciousness. |
