Undergraduate investigations in mathematics |

| Abstract: | This article is a report on work done in developing open-ended investigations as a component in an undergraduate mathematics degree course. The context and organisation of the work is described, and sources of fruitful problems are discussed, along with issues of supervision and assessment.
