| 摘 要： | 不同的文化产生不同的语言 ,语言与语言之间的沟通要通过翻译。研究语言的不可译性有助于回顾我们的翻译工作 ,修订我们的翻译标准 ,完善我们的翻译理论。本文以汉语语文为例 ,从拆字、连珠联、藏头句、谐音双关等修辞手段出发 ,探讨汉语文的不可译性以及应对的方法 ,并举例评说 ,同时指出 ,就译者而言 ,原文文本是客体 ,译者是主体 ,所谓“信”,是指“译者 (必需做到的 )对原文文本的全面而正确的理解”,所谓“达”,则是指“译者 (必须根据自己对原文的全面正确理解 )用译入语如实地把原文译出”,由此可见 ,“信、达”是因人而异 ,是一个变数 ,任何译者都必需认真负责对待自己的工作。

| Abstract: | Different culture creates different language. The communication between different languages relies on translation. The study of what is untranslatable will help us to review our work of translation, revise our standards of translation and improve our translation theory. This paper takes Chinese as an example and studies what is untranslatable of this language and the way out of the dilemma through commenting on some exemplary writings that are characteristic of such rhetoric means as "chaizi", "lianzhulian", "cangtouju" and "pun". In the meanwhile, it points out that as far as translator is concerned, the original text is the object, while the translator is the subject. Hence, "xin" means the thorough and correct understanding a translator must try hard to have of the original text, and "da" means the thorough and correct reproduction a translator must try hard to achieve of the original text in his translation. As "xin" and "da" vary with individuals, translators must be very, very earnest about their work. |
