| Abstract: | Defects in English phonetics,the prerequisite and basis of acquiring any language,not only hinder the learner from English excellence,but,in many cases,hamper oral communication in the language.This paper analyzes,on the basis of years of phonetics teaching,the drawbacks that some students suffer from in their English phonetics learning and practice,and suggests a few countermeasures intended for helping the students out of the erroneous zones in phonetics. |
