| Abstract: | Through the analysis of the images of miserable children being abnormally disciplined,injured,abandoned by their parents or being brutally persecuted and exploited by the adults,which are depicted in English novelist Katherine Mansfield's typical children stories,Six Pence,The Little Girl and The-Child-Who Was Tired,the thesis explores the theme of fear in Mansfield's Children Stories and her motive of creation. |
