| 摘 要： | 古今中外关于学习语言的背诵记录很多。学习者在背诵时主要是背诵一些固定表达即所谓语块。笔者的实验证明：背诵能促进英语词汇的学习从而促进英语学习技能的提高。这种古老的学习方法至今仍然有着它的作用。
